This Budget Template Does Not Include:

  • Sales tax — Often 7–10%, depending on your state or vendor

  • Delivery fees — Including white glove delivery, warehouse receiving, or on-site staging

  • Credit card or finance charges — Some trades/vendors charge fees for credit payments

  • Tips or gratuities — For delivery crews, movers, or service workers

  • Interior designer or architect fees — These vary widely and are not included here

  • Tech and smart integration — Under-cabinet lighting, speakers, or AV wiring

  • Temporary kitchen or living arrangements — Meals out, alternate housing, temp sink

  • Construction surprises — Mold, subfloor issues, electrical upgrades, structural revisions

  • Accessory costs — Trim kits, hoses, brackets, vent covers, etc.

  • Styling and decor — Window treatments, stools, accessories, rugs, art
